Keeping connected with our online community

In these uncertain times one thing’s for sure, what’s getting everyone through is the unwavering community spirit and support. Whether that’s in the shape of clapping for carers, help from our neighbours, more phone calls or facetiming with our loved ones or connecting with likeminded people online.

With this in mind, we’ll be temporarily changing how we post on our social media channels and theming some of our content to bring some regular positivity and light-hearted enjoyment each weekday. There will also be some chances to win prizes by getting involved too – keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter channels for further updates.

Starting on Monday 4 May you can look forward to some fun and engaging content around the following themes – and we’d be delighted if you wanted to share similar content with us too.

Fun Day Monday:

We’ll be starting the week off with a much-needed chuckle. If you have funny moments to share, we’d love to hear them.

Top Tips Tuesday:

Making the most of lockdown, we’ll share some informative posts to inspire a new hobby, or simply learn something new. Tell us what your new skills are and how others can get involved.

Wellbeing Wednesday:

Self-care is even more important at the moment so we’re focusing one day a week on how we can focus on improving our wellbeing. And we invite you to share with us the activities that are working for you.

Take a Break Thursday:

Sometimes we all need a nice distraction from everyday life. It’ll be a mixed bag on Thursdays, from sharing online theatre or musical experiences to arts and crafts tutorials. All distractions welcome!

Feel Good Friday:

Ending the week on an upbeat note by sharing some good news stories or celebrating those who are making us feel good with their acts of kindness in this situation. Our channels can help you say thank you to anyone who has done something wonderful.

We’d love to hear from you on things you’d like to see us posting. Please give us your feedback and comment on the posts we’re sharing, we love hearing from our customers! Also, please send us your thoughts on our Facebook or Twitter pages, we’ll be looking out for your videos and photos too!
