From racetracks to basketball courts, our sponsorships are helping more people across the UK get active, stay connected and achieve great things, in sport and everyday life.
Here’s what we’ve been up to.
Breaking barriers with Team BRIT
This year marks the second season we’ve supported Team BRIT, the world’s only competitive racing team made up entirely of disabled drivers. The team shows that disability does not limit potential, with the right support and opportunities, there’s no limit to what people can achieve.

Two of the team’s drivers, Aaron Morgan and rising star Noah Cosby, are also Motability Scheme customers. Our sponsorship helps Noah develop his promising racing career, which took a big step forward this season when he began driving a McLaren 570S GT4. Off the track, his Scheme car gives him the independence to travel to races, training sessions and his art projects.
This year, we brought Team BRIT even closer to customers. At all three Motability Scheme Live events, visitors met the drivers, explored the cars, tested their skills on racing simulators and competed for a real track-day experience.
Behind the scenes, we visited Team BRIT’s headquarters to see how our vehicle adaptations compare, showing how these innovations make driving accessible for everyone, including Scheme customers. Take a peak behind the scenes and watch the video below.
Together, the Motability Scheme and Team BRIT are helping change perceptions of disability and mobility, on the track, at events and in everyday life.
Powering participation with British Wheelchair Basketball
Our partnership with British Wheelchair Basketball (BWB) helps people across the UK experience the confidence and connection that come from inclusive sport. Wheelchair basketball brings disabled and non-disabled players together, building fitness, friendships and a real sense of community.
To help more people get involved, we’re supporting grassroots clubs nationwide. The BWB Club Finder tool makes it easy to give the sport a try, whether you’re returning to the game, starting something new or simply looking to stay active.

We’re also proud to support the Motability Scheme Inspire League, a friendly and competitive space for new and developing players. Local clubs host 5v5 match days that help players, coaches and officials build skills and confidence with support from experienced mentors.
Many customers use their Scheme vehicle to get to training sessions and matches, including Kirsty from the Bears team, who told us how the Scheme helps her stay active and feel part of her basketball community.
Together, the Motability Scheme and BWB are helping more people feel confident, connected and included, on and off the court.
Supporting inclusion with Scottish Disability Sport
In Scotland, we’re working with Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) to help disabled people try new activities, take part locally and even compete at national level.

Our partnership supports SDS Parasport Festivals and inclusive training for PE teachers, coaches and volunteers, all designed to make sport more accessible across communities.
It’s about helping people experience the physical, social and mental benefits of staying active. In November, we’ll be celebrating Scottish Disability Sport Week, a campaign showing why sport matters and how everyone can get involved.
Moving together
With our partners, the Motability Scheme is helping more people move, play and achieve. Sport has the power to change lives, and we’re making sure everyone has the chance to take part.
