Correction to the Personal Independence Payment article in Lifestyle magazine

We have noticed a misprint in the PIP article on page 6 of the latest Lifestyle magazine (November 2018 edition). The article details the transition support payment available to customers who leave the Scheme as a result of an unsuccessful DLA-PIP reassessment. The correct information on the transition support available to customers is as follows:

Customers who first joined the Scheme before 2013

Return the car within eight weeks of DLA payments ending and receive Transitional Support Payment of £2000.

OR

Return car within 26 weeks of DLA payments ending and receive Transitional Support Payment of £500.

Customers who first joined the Scheme during 2013

Return the car within eight weeks of DLA payments ending and receive Transitional Support Payment of £1000.

OR

Return car within 26 weeks of DLA payments ending and receive Transitional Support Payment of £250.

Customer who first joined the Scheme after 2013

Return the car within eight weeks of DLA payments ending. These customers will not be eligible for the Transitional Support Payment. However, a £250 Return to Dealer Payment may be available.
