Lord Sterling of Plaistow, Life President and co-founder of Motability, has shared the following message on behalf of Motability, the Charity, and Motability Operations:
“It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
“For nearly 45 years, Her Majesty the Queen has been the most dedicated and active Chief Patron to Motability. We have been privileged to enjoy her support and to celebrate many special landmarks in the charity’s history with both The Queen and members of her family.
“Everyone at Motability, and the disabled people and their families that the Motability Scheme has put on the road to freedom, wish to convey our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this time of great personal loss.”
