On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May, The Big Event (Birmingham) will be opening its doors for what promises to be a fantastic two days and a great opportunity to discover more about the Motability Scheme.
With over 160 cars on display, including cars fitted with adaptations, 57 wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVS), and over 70 powered wheelchairs and scooters, you will be able to see the latest products available on the Scheme.
At the event, you’ll have the chance to talk to some of our product experts, including a team of Motability Scheme volunteers and partners to get your questions. You’ll also be able to see first hand some of the latest mobility technology available through the Scheme.
Plus, there’ll be a wide range of standard production cars, electric vehicle (EVs) and cars fitted with popular driving adaptations to test drive*. Passenger WAV experiences will also be available for anyone who wants to see what it’s like to travel in a WAV for the first time.
There will also be an EV Information Hub, where visitors can learn more about electric vehicles and meet our charging partners; Ohme and bp pulse, who will be there to talk through charging at home and on the go.
We’re also excited to showcase our inspiring line-up of speaker sessions, including our new Motability Scheme Ambassadors; Will Bayley MBE, Lucy Edwards, as well as BBC TV presenter Steve Brown and many more industry experts.
Whether you’re already a Motability Scheme customer or interested in finding out more, this event is the perfect opportunity to do test drives and get answers to your questions.
*Please read the test drive terms and conditions before you attend the event.
