Motability Scheme Live is back for 2026. Previously known as The Big Event and One Big Day, we renamed our events last year. While the name has changed, everything people value about them remains the same.
Motability Scheme Live is a series of events at different locations across the UK, hosted by the Motability Scheme. They’re the best way to learn about the Scheme and what it can do for you. Join us to view a wide range of vehicles on display, take a test drive, chat to specialists, and more.

What’s on display
Explore vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers, including cars with adaptations and Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs).
You can also visit our Adaptations and WAV Hub, where you can find out whether a car with adaptations or a WAV could be right for you.

Try something new
At our disability events, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Test drive a wide range of standard vehicles, some fitted with a choice of driving adaptations

Try out scooters and powered wheelchairs on our indoor track
This can help you choose the vehicle that best suits your needs.
You can book a test drive on the day. Just bring your full UK driving licence. Full terms and conditions apply.
