Getting a letter from Santa is a special Christmas memory for many children. We know finding a personalised or accessible option can be tricky, so we’ve listed trusted organisations that offer Santa letters to help you choose.
What is a Santa letter?
A letter from Santa is a message sent to children during the Christmas season. These can often include a child’s name and fun details and achievements about their year. The letter is also signed off by Santa to make the experience extra special.
Where can I get a Santa letter?
Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)
RNIB creates letters from Santa in accessible formats including braille, large print, and audio. This is helpful for children with visual impairments. The letters are personalised, so you can add a unique message from Santa. This could include a fun story about your child’s adventures this year or something about their Christmas wish list.
You just need to add your child’s details to the form, it’s free to receive the letter, but you can also donate to RNIB if you’d like to.
The closing date to get a letter from Santa is Sunday 30 November 2025.
Visit the RNIB website to arrange a Santa letter.
Royal Mail
Royal Mail offers a service where your child can write a letter to Santa and receive one back. This is a more traditional way of writing a letter and means you need to buy a stamp to post it.
You can include as much or as little information as you’d like, but you’ll need to add your child’s name and address on the back of the envelope. There’s also an option to request a braille response when you send your letter.
Your letter needs to reach the Royal Mail address below by Thursday 11 December 2025

Other options for ordering a Santa letter
There are some websites which exclusively offer Santa letters. Lapland Letters and Santa’s Post Office charge around £7 to £10 for a letter, with extras available including certificates and activity packs. These websites often show positive reviews, but it’s worth taking a closer look before you order.
Some charities have offered Santa letters in the past, such as the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), so it’s worth checking that any details you find online are still current.
Can young people join the Motability Scheme?
Young people can join the Scheme, but what they can do and how they join depends on their age and whether they’re the customer or they have an appointee.
If a child has their allowance confirmed, you can apply for the Scheme up to three months before their third birthday. But the lease cannot start until they’ve got their allowance.
