Brand new Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles content section

We’ve given our Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) online content an early spring clean! All of the information has been reviewed and restructured to help make it easier to find the information you need.

The new pages aim to help those who are considering a WAV for the first time understand more about how choosing a WAV differs from choosing a car. The pages highlight key differences between WAVs, tips and hints to help you narrow down your search and things to look out for in that all-important home demonstration. There are new WAV films which take you through how a WAV is converted, including great time-lapse footage; an interview with a first time customer; as well as practical video tips on things to consider. Take a look by clicking the link below.

We’ve also updated our WAV search tool to include key features fitted as standard to the initial results view. This means that if parking sensors; privacy glass; winch or lowered floor are an absolute must-have for your needs you can quickly and easily see which of the WAVs come with these features included as standard.

But that’s not the last of the changes, keep your eyes peeled for future improvements to the WAV customer area as well as more planned improvements for WAV Search.

We hope that the changes help to improve your experience of using the website to find out more about WAVs and would love to know what you think – love it or loathe it – you can send us your feedback by completing our General enquiry form.
