From 8 December 2022, we’ll be renaming the End of Contract Bonus to the End of Contract Payment. This change won’t affect the payment amount or when it will be received.
What is the End of Contract Payment?
The End of Contract Payment is a £100 payment that is received when you reach the end of your scooter or powered wheelchair lease agreement.
Receiving your payment
The quickest way to receive your End of Contract Payment is to add your bank details to your Motability Scheme online account. If you have already added your bank details, ensure they are up to date before your lease ends.
The £100 payment will arrive in your bank account within a couple of days. If you don’t have an online account, we’ll send you a cheque in a couple of weeks. There’s no need to contact us about this – we will automatically send this to you after you return your product.
Please note if you requested early payment of the End of Contract Payment due to the COVID-19 situation, you will not receive this again when you return your product.

If you don’t yet have an online account you can set one up at myaccount.motabilityoperations.co.uk and update your payment details in the ‘Personal details’ section of your account.
